Fast shipping, great customer service from Vertex. The receiver is the highest quality finish that I have ever seen, like the blackest black you can imagine. It is lighter than any 556 receiver I have felt which makes no sense but it's very tight and sturdy. I purchased the PWS Mod 2 buffer tube (not sure if vertex offers this) it looks so good. I feel like it would be sinful not to put the mod 2 on the Xanthos.

Excellent buying experience

I ordered mid day on Saturday. I had my FFL send in their info via email the same day. The parts were received by my FFL Wednesday Morning.
The receiver itself is extremely impressive in person. The fit and finish are perfect. I have only held the parts at this point, so I cannot comment further.

2A Xanthos - Awesome!

Vertex was awesome and emailed me before and when these became available. Shipping was fast. 2A xanthos set is unbelievably light and the fit and finish is just awesome. This set will be crucial for the lightest AR-10 style rifles ever! It's just awesome to see manufacturers like 2A making the transition from AR-15 to the bigger brother with the same lightweight, functional, and durable mindset.
